Natalie Taylor

Natalie Taylor is the founder and principal of Bop Stars.

Natalie gained her qualifications in Musical Theatre after graduating her course of study in 2013. During her studies she worked part time in a Day Nursery, this is where her love for working with children began. For the last five years, Natalie has been living in London and working in childcare and children’s entertainment, she has taught at a number of holiday camps and theatre schools across the city. Natalie spent two of these years managing three performing arts schools in south west London. Growing up Natalie was diagnosed with dyspraxia and dyslexia and found the performing arts not only helped her physically but also mentally with the challenges she faced. She set up Bop Stars to create a safe space for all children to thrive. She is a teacher who understands the needs of her pupils, she feels strongly about them receiving the best possible care and her passion for the internal growth of a child through the performing arts was the driving force behind why she founded Bop Stars, she continues to teach at every holiday club we run.

Before Natalie began working with children, she had a successful professional career touring the world on several dance and aerial contracts and spent years in the performance arts aboard cruise ships.

The combination of her years working as a professional performer and working with children bring the perfect balance. She is fully qualified in Safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, Prevent Duty and British Values, Blossoming Babies and Awareness of Sign Language.

Gillian Quinn

Gillian is a teacher and face painter at Bop Stars

Gillian completed her Musical Theatre training in 2013.

After graduating her singing took her on tour all over the world, to the US, where she worked with Grammy Award winning producer Tony Black and even further afield to Australia! Upon returning to the UK, she performed with many live entertainment companies around the country.

Gillians professional achievements at such a young age showcase how highly qualified in vocal performance she is. With a vast knowledge of vocal styles and techniques, Gillian started teaching 1-to-1 lessons; with her primary goal being to build confidence within an individuals voice.

Since then she has held permanent teaching roles within nurseries, primary schools and continues to offer lessons to the older age groups in the comfort of their homes, or privately hired spaces.

Gillian believes a persons voice is the most vulnerable form of communication and focuses her teachings on creating a fun and safe environment for children of all ages to explore their voices without judgement.

She is looking to further her knowledge by studying and obtaining a Masters in Performance Anxiety. Gillian is passionate about using her experiences as a professional performer to help children develop their communication skills and self confidence.
